Out of all the different types of dresses that women wear, saree is perhaps the only one that never quite lose its charm. Though a traditional form of ethnic wear, sarees have been successful in making women look beautiful always, irrespective of their age or body type. Indian traditional sarees have, in fact, undergone quite a lot of changes in terms of fabric, design, patterns and so on.
While saree makes you look naturally gorgeous, it is always the right make-up that accentuates your overall apperance. Now, the make-up you should go for depends on the saree you are wearing, the ocassion, your skin tone and ofcourse, your personal preferences. Having said that, there are few make-up tips, following which can render you with the look to die for. Here, take a quick look at some of these:
Focus on the Eyes with Little Touch on Lips
Up for a daytime occassion and wearing a light coloured saree? Go for a cat eye make-up using a good dose of masscara, kajal and eye shadow. Apply some light gloss on your lips and be all set to go out.
Kajal and Nude Make-Up
If you are wearing a really gorgeous saree, let the focus stay on it. Wear nude make-up to enhance the natural beauty of your face . Team it up with fine lines of eye liner and kajal on the upper and lower lashes to get the perfect look.
Oil Based Make-up for the Extra Gloss
If you are draping a zardosi embroidered saree with some junk jewellery, go for an oil-based make-up. This will make your skin look shinning while also rendering you with the apt look for evening parties.
Pink Blushers for Rosy Cheeks
A rosy cheek make-up is best for women trying to highlight their cheek bones and lift them a little higher. This is all the more desirable if you are wearing pink, white or red sareee. However, compliment your look with dark eye make-up and lip gloss.
